Send an email campaign

Email the people who bought tickets to a single event — design the message, pick who gets it, and send it now or schedule it. This lives in the event's Marketing tab, not a separate tool.

Email campaigns are a quick blast to the buyers of one event — an invitation, a reminder, or a last-chance nudge. Open the event, go to the Marketing tab, and open the Campaigns sub-tab. Click New campaign and you get a ready-to-edit draft with a suggested subject and message.

Start a campaign

  1. Open your event and select the Marketing section, then the Campaigns sub-tab.
  2. Click New campaign. A draft opens with the recipient panel expanded so you can see who will receive it.
  3. Pick a Type — Invitation, Reminder, Last chance, Announcement, Thank you, or Custom. The type fills in a starter subject and message that you then edit.

Design the message

You have two composers, switched with the toggle above the message area:

  • Designer — drag blocks like Heading, Text, an Event card, and a Buy Tickets button into the email.
  • Plain text — a simple text box. Use the Insert Buy Tickets link shortcut to drop in your event link.

Type the word first_name in curly braces anywhere in the subject or body and it becomes each recipient's first name at send time. An unsubscribe link and your organizer footer are added to every email automatically — you do not add them yourself.

Choose who gets it

The recipient summary shows how many people are eligible. Click Edit recipients to adjust:

  • By default the audience is the ticket buyers of this event.
  • Add emails manually lets you paste extra addresses (press, VIPs). You must tick that you have permission to email them.
  • Only contacts who opted in to marketing narrows the list to people who gave marketing consent or subscribed.

Send now or schedule

The When to send card has three modes:

  • Send now — the email goes out immediately.
  • Schedule — pick a date and time. It is sent at that time in the event's local timezone.
  • Before each show — auto-sends relative to every upcoming performance (for example, 1 day before each show). A preview lists exactly when each show's email will fire.

When you are ready, click Send now (or Schedule) and confirm. A send cannot be undone.

After it sends

Back on the campaign list, each row shows Sent, Open rate, and Tickets — the ticket orders attributed to that campaign. A campaign flips from Draft to Sent once it has gone out.
