Run a self-service kiosk

Turn any spare tablet or screen into a self-service kiosk where buyers pick tickets and pay by card themselves. Add the kiosk from the dashboard to get a pairing code, enter it on the device, and manage or revoke terminals from one page.

A self-service kiosk is the customer-facing twin of the staff counter: a buyer walks up to a tablet or screen, picks an event and tickets, and pays by card — no staff needed. You manage kiosks from Kiosks in your dashboard sidebar (you need box-office access for the store).

Add and pair a kiosk

Pairing links a physical device to your store with a one-time code. The device appears in your list only after it successfully pairs.

  1. On the Kiosks page, select Add kiosk.
  2. Give the terminal a Device name you'll recognize (for example, "Kiosk 3 — Mall entrance"), then select Generate pairing code.
  3. On the kiosk device, open the pairing screen shown as Open this on the terminal, or the kiosk's own web address for your store.
  4. Type the code into Pair this kiosk on the device and select Pair kiosk.

The code is time-limited — enter it within 15 minutes, or generate a fresh one. Once paired, the device drops into the customer-facing Buy tickets here attract screen and is ready to sell.

How buyers use it

At the kiosk a customer taps to start, picks an event and performance, chooses tickets, and pays by card. They enter an email so their tickets can be sent — the kiosk shows Enter your email — we'll send your tickets there. — then sees a Thank you! screen and can buy more. Kiosk sales land on your Orders page alongside every other sale.

Manage and revoke kiosks

The Kiosks list shows each terminal's Device name, its Status (Active or Revoked), and when it was Last active. To retire a terminal, use the row's Revoke action and confirm.
