Add performances and schedules
Add one or more performances (date and time) to your event, set a capacity, and control when online sales start and stop. Each performance has its own door, scan, and sales-channel settings.
Performances live in the event wizard under Event info → Performances. A performance is one occurrence of your event — a date and time with its own capacity and sales windows. Ticket types, holds, and most downstream sections need at least one performance, so this is the first thing to set up after the event details.
Add a performance
-
Open your event, go to Event info → Performances, and select Add performance.
-
Enter the Performance title and pick a Status — Published, Unpublished, or Cancelled. New performances start as Unpublished.
-
Set the Start and End date and time. The end must be after the start.
-
Set the Capacity — the total number of tickets available for this performance.
-
Save. For doors, scanning, and sales windows, select Show advanced options first (see below).
Door open & scan settings
Under Show advanced options → Door open & scan settings you can set when doors open and ticket scanning begins:
- Doors open and Scan start — both entered as a time amount, Hours before event start.
- Scans per ticket — how many times each ticket can be scanned (default 1). It can't exceed the performance capacity.
Ticket sales settings
Each performance sells through one or both channels — enable Allow sales at box office and/or Allow sales on online store. At least one is required.
Turning on online sales reveals the sale windows:
- Online sales start — Immediately, Specific date & time, or To be announced. The last two let you add a Custom message or a start date/time.
- Online sales end — At event end time, A time before event end (set Hours before event ends), or Specific date & time.
- Limit tickets per online order — optional Min tickets per order and Max tickets per order.
You can also add a Ticket email message — extra text included in the buyer's ticket email for this performance.
Edit, publish, and delete
In the performances table, select a title (or the row's Edit action) to reopen the sheet. Each row's menu also has Publish / Unpublish to toggle visibility and Delete, which asks for confirmation first.
