Scan tickets at the door
Check people in with the built-in ticket scanner. Use your phone camera or a handheld barcode scanner, read the verdict for every ticket (admitted, already used, or not valid), and let the badge colour tell you at a glance who to let in.
To check people in, open Scan Tickets in your dashboard sidebar. Each Zunaro e-ticket carries a signed QR code; the scanner reads it, checks it against your store, and admits the holder — all in about a second. You need box-office access for the store, and the scanner opens on a phone-friendly screen you can use at the gate.
Before you start: pair the device
Every device that scans has to be paired once, so that each check-in is traceable to the terminal that admitted the ticket. Until you pair it, the scanner shows This device isn't paired yet instead of the camera.
Generate the code the same way you would for a sales kiosk — see Run a self-service kiosk for that part — then, on the device you'll scan with, open Scan Tickets, choose I already have a code, and type it in.
Camera or handheld scanner
The scanner has two input modes, switched with the toggle at the top:
- Manual (the default) works with a handheld barcode scanner. Most hardware scanners act like a keyboard — they type the ticket code into the waiting box and press Enter, which fires the check-in. The input stays focused so you can scan badge after badge without touching the screen.
- Camera uses your phone's camera to read the QR directly. Point it at the ticket; a verdict flashes over the camera and clears itself so you can move to the next person hands-free.
Reading the result
Every scan flashes a colour-coded card with a short beep, and shows the seat or ticket type, the holder's name, the event, and the order and ticket number:
- Green — Admitted. A valid, paid ticket that hasn't been used. Let them in.
- Amber — Already used. This ticket was already scanned. The card shows when it was scanned, so you can decide whether to wave them through or check further.
- Amber — Unpaid. The order hasn't been paid — collect payment before admitting.
- Red — Not valid. The ticket was refunded or cancelled, was transferred to someone else (so this copy is dead), or the code is fake or belongs to another organizer's event. Don't admit.
Recent scans
Below the result, a recent-scans list shows your last several check-ins with their verdict badges, so a second staff member can glance at what just came through without re-scanning.
