Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Zunaro (“Zunaro”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our event-ticketing platform at zunaro.ai, including the organizer dashboard, storefronts, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

Zunaro is a product of Technology PLEX - FZE, a free zone company (FZCO) licensed by the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority, registered at Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Technology PLEX - FZE is the controller of the personal data described in this policy, except where an organizer acts as controller of their own attendee data as described below. Who this applies to

Zunaro serves two groups: organizers who create an account to publish events and sell tickets, and attendees who buy tickets through an organizer’s storefront. This policy covers both. Organizers are independent controllers of the attendee data they collect through their events; Zunaro processes that data on their behalf.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up — directly or via Google or Apple sign-in — we receive your name, email address, and (for social sign-in) your Google or Apple profile basics and a verified email. Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your own.
• Organization data. Organizer and store details, events, venues, pricing, and team members you add.
• Order & attendee data. Names, email addresses, contact numbers, and order details captured at checkout, plus the tickets issued.
• Payment information. Card payments are processed by our payment providers (e.g. Stripe). We do not store full card numbers; we retain limited transaction metadata needed for orders, refunds, and accounting.
• Messages to us. What you send through the chat on our website, with the name, email address and phone number you give it so we can get back to you.
• Usage & device data. Log data, IP address, browser type, and cookies used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

The Zunaro Organizer app

Organizers and their door staff can use our mobile app to check tickets in and follow sales. Besides the account information above, the app collects:

• Where a scan happened. If you allow it, the phone’s location is attached to the tickets it scans, so the organizer’s team can see which door each scan came from. The app asks only after the camera, uses location only while it is open, and scans without it if you decline.
• A notification token. If you turn on alerts, we keep your phone’s notification token so we can tell you that doors are open, that scanning has started, or that your organizer sent a message. The app removes it when you sign out or unpair the phone.
• Door messages. A short note an organizer’s owner or admin sends to their own door staff is kept with the organizer’s account and shown on its scanners.

The app contains no advertising or analytics tools and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

The Zunaro app

Attendees use our mobile app to keep their tickets and, at events whose organizer turns it on, to network. Besides the account information above, the app collects:

• Your networking card, if you make one: your name and, if you add them, your job title, company, a photo, a LinkedIn link, a line or two about you and the goals and topics you pick, with a contact email (your sign-in email unless you change or clear it) and, optionally, a phone number. Other attendees at the same event see your card only if you choose to be listed, or once you have sent them a meeting request or met or connected with them; your email and phone only after you both accept a meeting or a connection, and they can then save them to their own contacts. Exhibitors receive only what you choose when they scan your badge, and keep any copy they have already exported after you stop sharing.
• What you do in networking: meeting requests, your meetings and connections and the messages inside them, the people you save or skip, the times you mark as busy, the sessions you bookmark, and your private ratings and notes on meetings. They and your card are kept until 90 days after the event’s last day, then deleted; you can delete them all earlier in the app (Me → Your data → Delete my networking profile).
• A notification token, if your phone allows the app’s notifications, removed when you sign out or delete your account.
• Ask Zunaro: what you type to Ask, and what it reads to answer you — the event’s details, your own tickets and, at an expo, the agenda, your meetings and your notes on them, and other attendees’ names, job titles, companies and goals (never their contact details) — are sent to an AI model provider, Google (Gemini), to write the answer. The conversation stays on your phone; we do not keep it.

You can delete your account in the app (Me → Delete account). That also deletes your networking data at every event, within minutes. The app contains no advertising or analytics tools and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your account.
• To process orders, issue tickets, and handle refunds.
• To authenticate you, including through Google or Apple sign-in.
• To send transactional messages (receipts, ticket delivery, account notices).
• To answer you when you contact us, by email or by phone.
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud and abuse.
• To comply with legal and tax obligations.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Organizers. Attendee and order data is shared with the organizer whose event the attendee purchased from.
• Service providers. Payment processors, hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers acting on our instructions.
• Advertising partners. Meta and LinkedIn, through the cookies described under Cookies, only where you have not refused them (and, in the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, only if you accepted them).
• Legal. When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your shopping cart. These are always on, because the Service does not work without them.

On our marketing website (zunaro.ai and zunaro.pk), including the page where you create an account, we would also like to use analytics and advertising cookies: Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used, and the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, to measure how our ads perform and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Google, Meta and LinkedIn provide these tools and receive information such as the pages you visit and details of your device and browser. The Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag are also used on the first page after a new Zunaro or Zunaro Enterprise account is created, to count sign-ups that came from our ads. None of them are used in the organizer dashboard, the box office, the kiosk, checkout or on ticket pages.

If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, none of these load unless you accept them in our cookie banner. Wherever you are, you can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of the marketing website, and a refusal is always honoured. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Organizers can add their own tracking tools to their store pages. Those are the organizer’s, used under the organizer’s own privacy policy.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only as required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. If your data was collected by an organizer through their event, we will direct your request to that organizer where appropriate.

International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above.
